The village of Acharavi is situated in the nothern part of Corfu 40 km from town, and is well-known for its variety of landscape and particularly for its abundance of greenery as well as a lot of other natural beautiesAcharavi belongs to the former community of Agios Panteleimonas (pronounounced: 'Agios Padel'eimonas, Greek: Άγιος Παντελέημονας).
The former community of Agios Panteleimonas is nowadays one of the ten official sections of the Municipality of Thinali.
